When you make this tea, the aroma catches your nose immediately. The green apple is more Jolly Rancher than Granny Smith, so where you gain in the scent, you do lose a bit of the natural/earthy feel of tea. Some might find that to be a plus, but it's a matter of preference. Not overly bitter green tea base allows the apple flavor to come out, and a hint of sweetener (don't go overboard though, or you lose the characteristic tartness) enhances the experience.
