This hand-made cast-iron tea pot is from the famous Kikuchi Hojudo-Wazuqu Studios, established in 1604, of Yamagata, Japan.  The Mayu tea pot, exclusively designed by Ken Okuyama, who designed the Ferrari Enzo and Masserati Quattroporte, is inspired by the tradition of noble elegance and refined beauty of the Samurai era. The handle serves as a link to this age gone by, and represents the Samurai's Katana sword, which is also traditionally made of the same cast-iron material. 350ml/11.83 fl.oz.
